2005 Kia Spectra: Fob..When pulling handle of driver door..door lock 2005 Kia Spectra: Front driver's side door won't unlock (or maybe it IS unlocked, but just won't open). When unlocking with key or Fob or knob on inside of car, all other doors unlock and open.

Well guessing a sensor in the boot has gone as I used to be able to open the boot when the car was locked just by pressing the button with the key in my pocket but now I cant. If I unlock the car the button works just fine to open the boot so I'm assuming its a sensor back there to blame.
First, insert the key into the driver’s door. Then, turn the key to the unlock position along with pulling up on the door handle. Finally, manipulate the door lock and the handle simultaneously from side to side to pop it open. Try and repeat this process until the lock unlocks itself and thereafter, have both the lock and the actuator replaced.
Avoid dropping or throwing the remote key. Protect the remote key from extreme temperatures. When the remote key does not work correctly, open and close the door with the mechanical key. If you have a problem with the remote key, Kia recommends to contact an authorised Kia dealer/service partner.
The most common cause of key fob not working in Kia Ceed is dead battery. But the remote key can also stop working due to worn buttons, poor battery contact, water damage, defective key fob, receiver module issues, signal interference, dead 12 volt battery, and unpaired key requiring reprogramming. 1.
